Nomadic State of Mind | Vegan sandals

The NOMADIC STATE OF MIND brand has been around since 2002. Back then, American Chris Anderson traveled to Nicaragua, where he taught some friends how to make sandals from rope using the simplest of means.

Much has happened since then, but the sandals are still manufactured on a former coffee plantation in Nicaragua. However, since sandals aren't in season year-round in most parts of the world due to the weather, other items are also manufactured there once the sandals are ready for the following summer, with the waste from sandal production being recycled or upcycled in many ways. This practice ensures year-round work and income for the workers in Nicaragua.

The materials used by NOMADIC STATE OF MIND are all vegan and completely free of harmful substances. The ropes are manufactured in the USA from the synthetic material polypropylene, which is extremely robust and therefore durable. Sustainability is important to NOMADIC STATE OF MIND, and nothing is more sustainable than a product that lasts and provides long-lasting enjoyment.
