The synonym for quality in footwear is quite clear: Made in Italy. That's why we were thrilled to come across the young Italian brand Solari Milano on Instagram. Here, Italian craftsmanship meets eco-vegan awareness. While in Milan for a shoe fair, we were able to meet the brand's co-founder, Niccolò, in person and see the high quality of the shoes for ourselves, both in person and in color.

Niccolò comes from a family where shoemaking has been a tradition and a source of income for decades. After a brief foray into the London financial world following his graduation, Niccolò and his business partner Orsola finally dedicated themselves to their own passion shoe project: Solari Milano. For two years, the two experimented with various materials in the family factory until they were finally satisfied with the quality of their designs. The result is a range of beautiful classic models, such as Oxfords and loafers, made from premium corn leather. More sustainable materials such as organic cotton, bamboo fiber, and recycled rubber are also used.

The high quality of these vegan men's shoes definitely pays off. Because the upper part of the shoe is sewn to the soles using the Blake welt construction, these shoes can be resoled if necessary! So, you'll enjoy your Solari Milano shoes for a long time.
