The story of GENTLEBERG begins in Amsterdam in 2017.

While searching for a classic dress shoe to go with his suit, 28-year-old founder Matthijs Berg realized he couldn't find a suitable vegan alternative. So he took matters into his own hands. Gentleberg is based on Berg's belief that veganism is not just the definition of a diet, but a philosophy of life.

Gentleberg focuses on perfecting a single style—the Derby—which they believe best suits today's gentleman. Whether with the Derby or the "casual Friday" sneakers, Gentleberg shoes belong in every shoe cabinet.
