FAIRMA ETHICAL DESIGN was founded in Krakow, Poland, in 2016. FAIRMA is a small team of passionate people who want to make the world a better place with their daily work – through vegan and sustainable footwear and accessories that are fairly produced in their home country.

Sustainability in footwear is defined by the choice of more environmentally friendly materials and, above all, by their durability. This philosophy is clearly reflected in the brand's absolutely timeless and elegant classics, such as vegan derbies and oxfords. All FAIRMA items are made from PETA-certified vegan leather alternatives. Examples include OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified microfiber leather, corn-based BIO ECO leather, and recycled PET. These vegan favorites are handmade in small family businesses in Poland.

In addition, FAIRMA donates a full ten percent of its profit margin to charities that support animal welfare or refugees (e.g., Open Cages and Polish Medical Mission).
